From Friday, October 25, from 8:00 p.m. to Monday, October 28, until 5:00 a.m., the section of the Štajerska highway between Vransko and Blagovica in the direction of Ljubljana will be closed. At the junction at Trojane, only vehicles heading towards Maribor and coming from Ljubljana can exit. During construction, the detour will be marked on the parallel regional road between Vransko and Blagovica. The complete closure of the highway is necessary due to the repair work of the concrete and asphalt pavements, the restoration of dilations, and the regular inspection and maintenance of the structures. Current road works in the country Traffic will be limited to alternating one-way traffic at the Karavanká tunnel, on the Gorenjska highway, tonight and Thursday morning, between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. The Poljčane - Majšperk route near Globokem will be closed until December 7 due to asphalting at Dravinja. The route Podlom - Kranjski Rak - Luče will be closed in Podlom on Wednesday, October 23, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The detour will be on the route Gornji Grad - Radmirje - Luče. On the Litija - Zagorje route, there will be complete closures at Šklendrovec every day until October 25, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. And on the Gorenja vas - Škofja Loka road in the Sten tunnel until Friday, October 25, every day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., there will be a complete road closure from Gorenja vas in the direction of Škofja Loka, traffic in the reverse direction will be unimpeded. At the Vršič Pass, the road is expected to be closed at the pass until November 8, Monday to Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily, as shown on the State Roads page of the Road Information Center. Work is also ongoing at several locations on the state roads in Korošak, where post-flood restoration is being carried out. On October 23, 2024, on the Mežiška Valley regional road: R2-425, on the Poljana-Šentvid section, from km 1,200 to km 1,650 (Nužijev slide), from 16.00 to 19.00 for partial or occasional short periods there will be a complete road closure. Traffic will be alternating one-way traffic during the partial closure, using traffic lights, manual traffic control or short-term full closures - approx. 15 minutes. The location of the construction will be indicated by appropriate road signs, as indicated on the pages of the municipality of Mežica.
